Claudette Castonguay: Solo Exhibition of New Work
1203 Broad Street, Victoria, B.C.
March 11, 2017 until March 23, 2017
"The men seek the light in a fragile garden where the colors shiver" - Jean Tardieu.
A self-taught painter, Claudette has exhibited in galleries across Canada since 1979. Known for painting with spontaneity, sensitivity, and humour she has created a distinct style that is recognizably hers. This latest collection is no exception as Claudette expands her repertoire of inspiration using a pastel colour palette and her vivid imagination. Ready for spring and the warmer days ahead she captures flowers in bloom, rolling countryside villages and bustling parties. Her reflections of Quebecois style and elegance put that ever-elusive je ne sais quoi on canvas.
Join us for the opening reception Saturday, March 11 from 1 - 4 pm. All artwork is subject to pre-sale. Please direct inquires to our Victoria gallery location at 250-388-0009 or to firstname.lastname@example.org. Claudette Castonguay's exhibition continues through March 23.
