Stephen Pon
Stephen was a diver - building underwater structures - and a parade officer instructor for the cadets before he chose to go toward the art profession, in the glass field. He acquired a variety of techniques: kiln casting, blown glass and poured glass. Doing more workshops along the way, the artist chose to work more intensely with kiln casting to get the ease, transparency, forms and textures. The limited series and unique sculptures of this artist catch the eye. Glass possesses this fragile beauty that we cannot resist to touch.
