Raynald Leclerc Exhibition of New Work
10337 - 124 Street, Edmonton, Alberta.
November 18, 2017 until November 30, 2017
The West End Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of new work by Raynald Leclerc in Edmonton, Saturday, November 18, 2017.
Raynald Leclerc was born in Saint-Michel de Bellechasse in December, 1961. He spent his childhood in a colourful environment surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of Québec, profoundly influenced by growing up next to the St. Lawrence River, watching the way the light moves in a thousand and one different ways. His paintings are a reflection of the freedom in the movement of shadow and light, and fill the viewer with wonder and longing for the nostalgic rural paradise, exuding comfort and well-being. A self-taught artist, in his early twenties he became an active member of the professional painters community after studying architecture at Levis-Lauzon CEGEP and working for a time as an industrial designer. Raynald Leclerc has been earning his living from his artwork for over 30 years.
